TREE Green Solutions Private Limited is an environmental engineering company founded by doctoral graduates and alumni of IIT Guwahati, IIT Bombay, Monash University, and the IITB-Monash Research Academy — specialising in Civil and Environmental Engineering.
TREE stands for Technology and Research in Environmental Engineering — a name that reflects the foundation of everything we do. We combine rigorous research with practical engineering to deliver environmental solutions that are technically sound, locally relevant, and globally aligned.
To develop and disseminate indigenous technologies in environmental and waste management sectors, promoting a self-reliant and sustainable environment.
TREE Green Solutions was established in July 2020, during the COVID period, with a vision to bring research-backed environmental engineering solutions to industries and infrastructure projects across India.
The company commercialised its first product — Synthetic Soil developed from industrial waste. Alongside this, two significant research capabilities were developed: carbon quantification in trees using photogrammetry, and a tree counting application using LiDAR technology.
TREE Green Solutions collaborated with major organisations including NCC Ltd, Hindalco Ltd, and Indian Railways, focusing on reducing water and carbon footprints across industrial and infrastructure operations.
The company extended its services to international clients, serving organisations in the USA, Singapore, and Hungary. Projects spanned the Pharchem, ship recycling, and steel industries.
TREE Green Solutions completed more than 12 projects between April and December 2024, continuing to expand its presence across India and internationally. The company also took on its first CSR initiative, providing project cycle management services for the Ramakrishna Vivekananda Ashrama in Hubballi — covering architectural and structural design, cost estimation, technical documentation, and on-site construction monitoring.
The company strengthened its water and wastewater management practice, delivering four sewage treatment plants for clients in the hospitality and healthcare sectors in and around Hubballi. Three rainwater harvesting projects were also completed for Jana Urban Space and Advanced Adhesive Private Limited, alongside continued CBAM compliance work for Vishwa Stainless Pvt Ltd.
Building on its long-standing relationship with Indian Railways, TREE Green Solutions is undertaking a large-scale water audit for the Rail Wheel Factory in Yelahanka, Bengaluru — reflecting the company's growing role in infrastructure-scale water management for public sector clients.
